Spotting

Description:

The plant had a wide base with leaves that branched out right away. The leaves were both wide and long (about 20-30 cm wide & 60-70 cm long). They were a light green color and very smooth and shiny. The edges had a wavy pattern and some edges were bent back and overlapped with others. The leaves were sticking out at different angles, but usually they went diagonally upwards. The leaves had no drip tips and some were darker than others.

Habitat:

The plant was in a bright area with lots of sunlight coming through. There was lots of leaf litter surrounding it and also a few smaller plants. Some sides of the plant were under more shade than others and leaves were pushing for space with others leaves. Above the plant were a few tall trees that were taking some of the light.
