Northern Two-lined Salamander

Eurycea bislineata

Description:

Very small salamander, about 2.5 inches. I am pretty positive on the ID but the frills on the head don't seem to be typical. They are difficult to see in the photos but are present. Perhaps this is a juvenile?

Habitat:

Under a rock in a brook running through a deciduous forest. Gully Brook Park, Lake Metroparks System, Willoughby, Ohio, USA.
