The black guillemot's habitat range is from sub-artic to New England and the British isles. During the summer breeding season, the black guillemot is all black with large white wing patches. You can't see in this picture because the bird is in a resting position, it's webbed feet and legs are bright orange.
This black guillemot lives in captivity at the National Aquarium in Baltimore, Maryland.
