For your area, it would be Veratrum viride var. viride. :-)
Hi Fyn,To me, this looks like some species of Veratrum - my guess is Veratrum viride (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Veratrum_vi...). I think Skunk Cabbage has more smooth, shiny leaves. What do you think? :-)
