Spotted swimming together (pic#1+#2) in the River Severn. 60-66cm when fully grown 2600 breeding pairs in the UK,substantially more in Winter Goosnders can live to 14yrs or more

Habitat:

Lakes and slow-flowing rivers Feeds on a wide range of fish including young salmon and trout. Female alone incubates 8-11 eggs for 30days Juveniles are independent after 65days and leave their nesting areas
