Description:

A big round headed owl.Broken wing. From pure white (adult) to white with dark spottings. Currently being rehabbed at VINS in VT. Breeds in far North but winters southward, in open fields or marshes. It perches on the ground, houses, or fence posts, even in daylight. Eats small rodents and birds. L 23" WS 52"

Open country, marshes, fields, dunes.
