small waxy orange mushroom (?)

Description:

small mushroom, bright orange cap and stem. gills decurrent, broadly spaced. The cap is under 1/2 in. diameter. The whole mushroom about 1 1/2 in. tall. Gills just a little bit lighter than the cap. Stem darker towards base. Cap depressed at center.

Habitat:

on the ground in mixed woods

Notes:

It's possible this is Hygrophorus cantharellus or possibly Cantharellus minor. Not really sure.
