Scutelleridae, Eurygaster austriaca. I agree, we only should use the family or subfamily name if there is probably no chance to get down to genus or species level.

Hi Carla, thank you for your suggestion FYI Pentatomoideacannot be used as a Scient nam it is only a Family name. The scientific name (or Binomial Name) is Genus + species and these are the only words we can accept in the scientific name field. We have asked for extra fields to be added for Family etc in the new version which is under developement/testing at the moment. BTW did you make a suggestion on my Ground Bug and then remove it? I got an e-mail but nothing showing and I was certain my ID was correct on that one, there are many species with minor pattern differences.
