Thank you bayucca and yes vft2000 the Wetlands are alive with all kinds of wild plants including the thistles

you must get a lot of nutthall's thistles around there...you've got tons of spottings w/bugs on them

I think yours is Leptoglossus phyllopus. Leptoglossus oppositus has no stripe at the back.
