Stink Bug

Caura rufiventris

Description:

Feeding on a Castor oil plant (picture 5-6) Abount 15mm long, bright orange and dark brown, close to black. I would love to get ID-support so I can learn more about this beauty!

Habitat:

Urban environment, but at a military base inside the national ariport in Maputo, Mozambique. The grass and small bush surrounding the air strip grows naturally.

Obrigada Luis, and thank you Faredin for the ID. They are indeed very similar, apart from the color difference red - orange and the upper part of the legs where mine seem to be without any black details... Well done :)

Ohh except that yours is not as red so maybe it's not the exact species or it's not in its full breeding color so lets hope some professional will take a look at it.
