Battus philenor
Females lay batches of eggs on underside of host plant leaves. Caterpillars feed in small groups when young but become solitary when older. Wintering is by the chrysalis.
On a Wooly Pipevine, Aristolochia tomentosa, leaf.

Thanks Luis, but not hard to find - I have Wooly Pipevine, a native plant here in Texas, on my potting bench arbor. The alien looking caterpillars are fun to watch and show visitors. :)
Good find!
