Spotting

Description:

About 3" long. MULTI-legged with long, slender antenna. Body is whitish with brown lines running in a long-dotted pattern the length of the body.

Habitat:

Seen on an interior wall. The condo is directly on the water of a channel and is over the water (ocean). Water flows under the condo. A large rocky area is directly beside the condo and sandy areas are around.

Notes:

I have placed this in arthropods although I really have no idea what this organism actually may be.

I believe it is a House Centipede. The first time I saw one, I was amazed by how strange it looked (and how fast it could move)!
