Small Winter Stonefly

Description:

Tiny insects found crawling in great numbers through the snow! Most with wings. Some smaller ones with reduced wings (males I believe) were also observed (see photo 4). Family Capniidae.

Habitat:

Rural field with woodlands. Small river bordering the field.

Notes:

Working on a Genus. Any suggestions welcome!
