Notably, during the first three months after they hatch, due to a genetic defect they can only turn to the left while flying. If they want to go to the right, they must land and turn on the ground.

@ Jemma...Lol! There are no Bed Bugs here...just lots of Moths right now. I guess I'll have to sleep through it all. Night!

The host plant is wild lettuce. We have a lot of miner's lettuce in the backyard,thanks to "active seed dispersal"

Thanks, Mark! Unfortunately this Phoebe family has eaten it up.including the orb weaver spiderlings. So much for Hungry birds!

Keith,unfortunately this moth was swiped in mid air by a sharp sighted Phoebe,with super sonic speed. I twas fed to it's very hungry fledgling.
