The host plant is wild lettuce. We have a lot of miner's lettuce in the backyard,thanks to "active seed dispersal"

Keith,unfortunately this moth was swiped in mid air by a sharp sighted Phoebe,with super sonic speed. I twas fed to it's very hungry fledgling.
