These guys react faster than the first curtain of my shutter, which means I never get a shot of them on the ground. Their wings, however, can't propel them into the air as well as my shutter drops, so it takes them longer to get to speed. That means that pretty much every photo I take shows them taking off, which is pretty interesting.
