It was blue colored. Body structure looked like an ant. It had wings too and fly.
Although I have written it as 'ant', but I am not sure whether it is actually an ant with wings, or a kind of fly or bee. Please help me identify it.

Not quite the same but near enough to serve as a pointer. Eta Wasp, bee noi.
This is actually some kind of a wasp. I cannot tell you exactly what family it belongs to, but I would tend to Scoliidae or Sphecidae, but I may be completely wrong.
