Habitat:

Suburban back yard.

Notes:

Found this guy while doing yard work. I can't find anything like him on the internet identification sites.

Hi Lily, this is a pretty neat find! It's a caterpillar from Family Sphingidae, Sphinx Moths. How large was this caterpillar? Do you have any other images with different angles?

The caterpillars from this Family of moths are often called Hornworms because of that amazing horn that comes off the back end (not all of them have it but many of them do).
