Although called the Eastern Kingbird, it also nests here in British Columbia along the Alouette River and on the Pitt Polder. Always a welcome sight when we are out bird watching.

Congrats Rick, your great capture is Spotting of the Day! The Eastern kingbird may be relatively small but it will aggressively defend its territory against much larger birds including crows and ravens.
