Rayed Blue

Actizera lucida

Description:

The Rayed Blue (Actizera lucida) is a butterfly of the Lycaenidae family. There is a white ray, or streak down the center of the hind wing. Wingspan: males 15-23 mm females 17-25 mm Flight Period: Year round, but are more common in summer.

Habitat:

Distribution: Eastern and southern Africa to Kenya. It is also found on Madagascar.
