Cope's Gray Treefrog

Hyla chrysoscelis

Description:

Fairly common in this area. Gray marbled marking all along the back, white belly with yellow on the underside of the legs. Approximately 2.5" from head to "tail" while resting.

Habitat:

Water filter in a butterfly garden pond.

Notes:

Yes, this little guy was stuck in our pond filter, but my neighbor's son rescued him while cleaning it out. The boy and the frog both seemed perfectly fine after the ordeal.
