Sun Coral

Tubastraea sp

Habitat:

I found this specimen in a coastal region, north of Brazil.

Notes:

The species, exotic on Brazil, came here trapped in the hulls of ships with little maintenance, and, on parts of Piers transported to here. The propagation, one suspects, started to the northeast of the country. Now the species is found in several parts.
