Common Pierrot Butterfly

Description:

Small butterfly. Black and white. tail present and it has a blue/green spot.

Habitat:

Belun eco resort is a place close to a rather shrunken river (non monsoon visit) where large tracts of land have been let undisturbed. Lots of waterbodies (natural and artificial). Belun village is nearby where land is cultivated.

Notes:

The date on the photo is wrong. I used my other camera after over two years and when I inserted the battery, I was prompted to update the date etc. I did not. I had almost forgotten how to operate this camera and while reteaching myself forgot to reset the date.
