Texas Spotted Whiptail

Aspidoscelis gularis

Description:

The back is brown with gray stripes with spots in-between the stripes. This is a breeding male, complete with a pink throat and dark blue belly.

Habitat:

Found in a brush pile in a desert-scrub area. Took 7 of us about 15 minutes to catch him since he was really warm and really fast, but I ended up catching him in the end :)
