Order: Lamiales > Family: Lamiaceae. Growing on the side of a small hill, this lovely low-growing perennial seems to enjoy a fair amount of either sun or shade. Even though the flowers are very small, when its covered it makes for an excellent display, as you see here. Native to peninsular Florida and the Caribbean.
