Scorpion mimic Jumping Spider

Bavia kairali

Description:

Small scorpion like spider about 6mm long. Spreads it's forelegs in a scorpion like manner. Frequents banana leaf where it makes a translucent nest and lays spherical eggs. Guards the nest and it's hatchlings.

Habitat:

Spotted under a banana leaf.

Notes:

In the second picture a baby spider could be seen.
