About 20 mm long plant hopper. Flew in at night attracted to light. Transparent wings with prominent green veins.

In trees and bushes.

Thank you bayucca for the correction.. It sure seems a plant hopper. I thought it a cicada because of it's size and the thick transparent wings.

I do notthink that this is a cicada. Looks for me morelike a planthopper. Reminds me of a Dictyopharidae without the prominent nose (they indeed exists!). But I did not find a reasonable match or that and I am not sure about the family. I would guess it is a Fulgoromorpha (not Cicadamorpha) and might be a Fulgoroidea. Maybe you or others find more about...
