Blue Butterfly

Description:

This tiny little Blue came to an ultraviolet light but landed on a rock on the balcony. It has two small orange spots on the closed hind wings and small white wavy lines on a grey background. When it opened it's wings I couldn't believe the bright metallic blue, almost like a Morpho. The body is about 1 cm long.

Habitat:

Came to an ultraviolet light in the garden, San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.
