Scyliorhinus stellaris
Α Nursehound (Scyliorhinus stellaris), washed ashore, at Achillion beach, Pagasitikos gulf, Greece. It was intact with no visible wounds, so since Bottom trawling & Midwater trawling are not allowed in Pagasitikos gulf, I can only guess that it was accidentally catched in a gillnet, and then it was released back into the sea, but it did not survive,,,
