The Loggerhead Shrike is a gray bird with a black mask and white spot in its black wing. The tail is black with white corners.
It can be found in the open country with scattered shrubs and trees. However, you can also find it in habitats that are short with a small amount of trees.
Loggerhead Shrikes eat insects, amphibians, reptiles, small mammals, and birds. These birds can also sometimes eat roadkill and carrion.
