Oncidium
Small yellow orchids on with orange brown "tiger" stripes. The flowers are about 3cm. Bulblike orchid plant.
Our garden Yishun Singapore
No need to wait, Oncidium is fine. To me, just having the genus of an orchid is a valid enough ID.
Shall I then ID it as a Oncodium? Or do I need to wait until an exact ID?
Yeah, dancing lady is the common name. As for getting the exact ID, it could be really tough, unless its a species, as there are so many hybrids out there.
Hey Dandoucette Thanks That's the one! ( I see they also call them Dancing Lady " cute )Not exactly sure which particular one though. Anyone else?
Nice orchid. Probably Oncidium or related.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oncidium
