Eryngium Paniculatum
Esta linda planta apareció cuando empezamos a vagar sin rumbo por el parque; nos habíamos perdido de número, y no sabíamos qué rumbo tomar. Mi hermano se había empeñado en escalar una enorme roca, y mis papás lo vigilaban. Entonces, me topé con estas bolitas pinchudas.
Parque metropolitano, cerro en el centro de la capital.
Aunque la última foto parezca ladeada, es así como me encontré con estas ramificaciones. Los árboles que se ven al fondo dan testimonio de aquello.

Your help was very useful! Thanks to you, I have now a relationsip between some kind of plant native to Chile, and the species you suggested me. Well, It isn´t a yuccifolium; but, as you said, it was of the same familly! Here in Chile, we call it: Chupalla. Thank you for your help!

The bloom looks very much like eryngium yuccifolium. I don't know if it is, but it might be in the same family.
