Prunella vulgaris
Also called Common Self-heal. Gets its name for apparent medicinal properties. Used in a poultice to promote healing of wounds, or in a medicinal tea for a large variety of ailments. Also said to be tasty in salads, soups and stews. And I read it's showing promise in AIDS research. Didn't know ...
That said, please don't eat any plant unless you're absolutely sure what it is, right? Also called Self-Heal and Heart of the Earth.
