Think it might be the silver leaf fungus Stereum purpureum, but I'm really not sure. Just a guess.
Woodland around Cannonsburg.
Unfortunately I have no idea what kind of tree it was growing on.

Interesting ! Hope someone can confirm this for you. I understand this fungus affects fruit trees ??
