Meadow Brown/Navadni lešnikar

Maniola jurtina

Description:

Medium sized (about 5-8cm) big light brown-greyish butterfly with orange colored upper wings. On its wings it had little black spots. It is one of the most widespread butterflies in Europe. This butterfly is a male.

Habitat:

Meadows, grassland, woodland ...

Notes:

I couldn't get a picture of it with spread wings, but it was very beautiful.
