Metcalfa pruinosa
Grey to brown depending on how much floury coating is present. Two dark spots (and often more) near the base of the wing are characteristic.
The citrus flatid planthopper is found on citrus, but also is found on a wide variety of woody plants, many of which are used in the ornamental trade. This planthopper seldom causes economic damage to most plants except to those weakened by some other factor. This planthopper is common in eastern North America.
