Common Gulls with babies

Larus canus

Description:

These gulls and particularly their babies were receiving a lot of attention by birdwatchers and they were very well mimetized in the grass at quite some distance from us. I tried to get closer but the sea gull adults started to get very agitated so I stayed at a fair distance (hence, low quality images).

Habitat:

Iona grassland between Iona Abbey and the shore.
