Unknown red lichen

Description:

Red and yellow lichen? patch high on a huge lichen covered, granite boulder. All other lichens were shades of green/grey. This patch was about 30cm diameter. No discernible structures with using my pocket cam other than small, rounded plaques.

Habitat:

Forested national park with very large granite boulders. By my estimation this patch was situated on the only high part of the surface which received good sky light but never any full sun. About 3 metres above ground.

Notes:

Yet to find possible lichen types for this mountain area. Plenty of red/orange types exist at ocean beaches like Caloplaca.

:) As much for the art... but still curious.
Possibly not even lichen I suppose. Definitely the only one in miles of hiking.
