Carrhotus sannio
The predator shown here is a female Carrhotus sannio and the prey is an Unidentified Apidae.
This Jumping Spider, with its prey, was spotted in our vegetable plot in the backyard of the rice mill.
I would like to acknowledge the help given, by arne.roysland, with this spotting. Some more pictures of the Carrhotus sannio female - https://www.dreamstime.com/photos-images...

Thanks again, Arne. You are absolutely right on both. The predator is indeed a Carrhotus sannio female and the prey is a bee, not a fly. I used to get many of my identifications from a website called insectoid.info and my notes made at the time show that I called the spider C. sannio (female) back in 2016, but apparently the website was not complying with Google's requirements and it was taken down. So, I could no longer rely on my original ID (at least, that's my excuse), but I obviously did not pay enough attention to the prey. Anyway, I am very grateful that you have taken the trouble to help and I will edit this spotting to rectify both immediately. Thanks John B.
You can put Carrhotus sannio without hesitation https://www.inaturalist.org/taxa/334660-....
The prey has eyes like a bee.
