Dime sized spider. Brown. Off white hour glass on belly. Found in my car after fishing trip in Santee lakes, CA.
Car. Encinitas, CA.
The photo in the suggestion above is of a darker colored male with a white hourglass marking on the underside of the abdomen; the female of this species is the well-known black spider with the red hourglass mark. The article says males are harmless to humans, just fyi!
