The photo in the suggestion above is of a darker colored male with a white hourglass marking on the underside of the abdomen; the female of this species is the well-known black spider with the red hourglass mark. Here's the wikipedia page for the species, and it has a few more photos of different male coloration. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latrodectus... The article says males are harmless to humans, just fyi!
