Arctia caja
Is the caterpillar for the garden tiger moth, Arctia caja. It was moving very fast along a hike trail in Glencoe (perhaps was hiking too :-).

En mi opinion no deberias de tener dudas sobre la especie ya que es esta que mencionas, una caracteristica que suele tener esta oruguita es la forma que dibuja el contorno rojizo de la parte de abajo por detras de la cabeza, todo esto junto a esos pelos largos grisaceos que presenta no hay duda como decia que es un Arctia caja.

It was moving quite fast but it seems like the side was orangish in the caterpillar?
