Found this butterfly hanging upside down on a tree branch by a drying small lake but didn't succeed to see it with open wings.

Thanks, yea the blues love bein upside down but have no idea why, do you know? Had not seen the bigger butterflies hanging before.
very nice! it's very interesting why butterflies hanging upside down, especially Lycaenidae...on all my pictures blues are hanging! :D
