Habitat:

White-winged doves are found living in dense, thorny forests, streamside woodlands, deserts with cactus, and urban and suburban areas of the southern U.S. Their native range extends from south-western U.S. through Mexico and Central America and to the Caribbean.

Notes:

They feed primarily on grains and other agricultural crops, including wheat, sunflowers, milo, corn, and safflowers. They also eat fruits and large seeds. They are generally resident, but sometimes migrate short distances during the breeding season.
