Plant green; capitulum convex and dense; branch fascicles with two spreading and two pendant; branch leaves strongly recurved, ovatt-lanceolate, chlorphyllous cells exposed on outer surface, triangular; stem leaves lingulate-triangular.

Habitat:

Nutrient rich fen, growing among cranberries, and eastern white cedar; graminoides prominent
