Me, too, on the subject of diversifying. I'm a "plant person," pretty much, but I'll have you know I took a picture of a moth yesterday. Big, pretty moth, too ... don't have a clue how to go about trying to ID it.

I've been trying to diversify my 'nature interests and observations' lately, thus the mushrooms. I took my neighbor and his kids, hubby and our kid, and we all went on a "mushroom hunt" through our conjoining 30 acres. It was more fun than an Easter egg hunt or treasure hunt. The kids had a blast! :) Who would have thought there was so much fungus among us?!

I'll give your pics a peruse and see if I can help you out any! I owe you about 10 by now. :D

Ha! Noticed you'd been photographing fungi lately. I was just about to comment that they look like pancakes. (Jinx ... you owe me a Coke!) And, hey, Emily, I posted a "mystery grass" spotting over the weekend. Just can't get any traction on an ID. Take a look when you have a minute? Thanks.
