Grey Field Slug

Deroceras reticulatum

Description:

This pale slug has a keeled tail like others of its genus. The body of this slug is a mix of cream-color, greyish and a slight pink-grey color. The lenght is up to 50mm. The thin, clear, sticky mucus of this slug often becomes milky white when it is harassed. That is why they also name it Milky Slug.

Habitat:

Forest under the bark of a rotting tree.
