Leptodactylus knudseni

Description:

Smallish blue/black frog with a light green ladder pattern on it's back. Not all members of this species have such clear markings.

Habitat:

Found near water in the Amazon rainforest of SE Ecuador.

Yes. The adults are not so striking losing much of the bright colors and turning rather drab. Thanks.
