Hygrocybe chlorophana
Bright yellow mushroom, with ~3-4 cm diameter hats. As if not only the morning mist would have covered it...
On the border of a mixed culture forest and a crop field. Next to a Half-natural waterflow and a (ploughed) kurgan of the Yamna Culture (~3600-2300 BC) - Soilmark (cropmark) of the (still) existing mound is visible on satellite imagery map.

Once more thanks for ID and kind comments!
Nice find syzygy, from your description,it seems that is a
Hygrocybe sp.There are several Hygrocybe species in Europe,i found normaly the red wax cap,Hygrocybe coccinea ,this is probably a golden wax cap,Hygrocybe chlorophana,or a butter wax cap,Hygrocybe ceracea. The better is to make a search in internet and compared ,images with the ones you have and with your memory, because many times the photo color's may not be exactly as the reality,i presume your's is much more yellow than the photo show.
