Alpine Thrift

Armeria alpina

Description:

The Alpine Thrift is a perennial, herbaceous plant reaches height of about 5 to 30 centimeters. It forms dense cushions with erect, non-leafed stems. The narrow grassy leaves grows from a basal rosette. They form spherical inflorescences. Bloom time is from June to September.

Habitat:

grows on mountain clearing, rocky and sunny area, 2200 m/asl

ima lijepo ime: babina svila :D ne znam jel miriše, puhao je vjetar jako i bila je magla pa nisam osjetila nikakav miris...
