Curicaca/Buff-Necked Ibis

Theristicus caudatus

Description:

This Curicaca was "grazing". Walked across the pasture and from time to time, took the nozzle to the floor, to capture their food. When I approached a bit more, took flight.

Habitat:

I found this specimen in a region of transition between the Atlantic Forest and Cerrado, in a pasture near a river.

Notes:

I really don't know what it eat. But, probally, little lizards or big bugs.
