Lynx Spider

Hamataliwa grisea

Description:

Brown and black spider about 10 mm long with what appear to be two small ears. These are actually two bumps caused by a rear pair of eyes that are aligned above the front eyes when looking eye level at the face. I call this the cat spider which seems appropriate for a Lynx spider.

Habitat:

On a tent under a tree at a park
